We have known John and Bernadette since 1972 when we moved next door to them. We were neighbors for 42 years until we moved to Florida. Our girls grew up together and our boys were great admirers of “Mr. Hevican”. Over the years John was always there with a helping hand, a smile and a great story. Our families shared many life events happy and sad. Alan and I can only say John was one of the finest men we’ve ever known.

We remember John when he came down to visit us several years ago in Florida with Bernadette his wife, a good friend I've known since we were five years old and their daughter Kathleen. John was quiet but also very friendly and loved to talk! I know he will be surely missed by everyone who knew him! Sending prayers to his family, who dearly loved him. John is now with God in Heaven!
