Beloved Wife of the Late Ralph Francisco, Cherished Mother of Ralph (Erika) and Richard (Rita). Adored Grandmother of Riley, Olivia, and Salvatore. Owner and devoted NY State Licensed Funeral Director of the Former Francisco Funeral Home (101 Ave, Ozone Park)

Leslie was very involved at St. Mary Gate of Heaven Church as a Lector, Computer Class Teacher, and donated her time decorating the Church during the holidays. As a NY State Licensed Funeral Director and Owner of Francisco Funeral home,

Leslie would never charge a family who lost a child for reasons of her losing one also.

Invoked in DEMORT/FEMA, Leslie started the job in 1990. The Happy Land Social Club, which was one of the deadliest disasters to occur in New York City prior to 9/11, was one of the first disasters she worked with. She also worked during 9/11 and many other disasters, such as TWA flight 800, Avianca flight 052/ American Airlines flight 587, and Hurricane Katrina. She was a certified bereavement counselor, helping countless families during these tragedies.

When it came to her own neighborhood that needed assistance with a desecrated Bayside Cemetery on Liberty Ave in Ozone Park, She was a part of the cleaning up. She formed a whole team to help, such as funeral directors to help direct and properly burying bodies that were torn from their final resting places, Casket companies to donate the caskets, and even a group of Mormons from Utah to help with the landscaping of the cemetery.

A life filled with love, care and service to her family, friends, and beloved community. “Well Done Good and Faithful Servant, Now Enter the Place I Have Prepared For You.”
