I met Emily when I become friends with Karls family back in the 80s. She was always a pleasure to talk with. She invited us over for dinner a few times which was always delicious and a fun time. She had a sweet spirit and will be missed by family and friends. God Bless

I had the pleasure of meeting Emily when I became her caregiver after she had moved in with her daughter and son in law in Mechanicsburg. I admired her knowledge of technology, using her Facebook and reading her email on her tablet. She crocheted blankets, hats and scarves in no time at all and donate them to Warm Hearts or New Hope Ministries. Then there would be our adventures to the Dollar Store where she would stock up on chocolates and the fabric store to replenish her supply of crocheting yarn. She was independent and did as much as she could on her own but never failed to thank me as I left for the day. So I won't be sad that she has gone now but smile because I met this truly wonderful woman. I will miss her but I know she is truly home.
