Marie J. Keeshan of Noth Massapequa on October 5, 2024, passed away peacefully in her 90th year.

Marie was born on July 14,1934 to Joseph and Angelina Azzone. Marie was raised and grew up in Queens NY, married Richard and had 5 children before moving to N. Massapequa in 1972.

Marie was a warm, loving, funny and the most unselfish person. Marie was known to all as Momma Keesh. She was an avid reader but a more avid storyteller. Marie was a prominent member of her community who volunteered countless hours for the Scouts, Baseball and Football leagues, church, fire dept, and many other organizations. Marie was a very hard worker whose career included employment in the Plainedge School district, The A&P, and Bridal Reflections. Momma Keesh’s fondness for The Theater, The Movies, Dancing, traveling and storytelling was exceeded only by her incredible passion she had for her family.

Devoted mother of Richard (Patricia), Theresa (Jeffrey) Dillon, Raymond (Colleen), and reunited in death with sons Michael and James.

Survived by Brother Joseph (Ruthie) Azzone, Sister Madeline Boneri and Brother Paul Azzone.

Cherished Grandmother of 16 and Great Grandmother of 16.

Loving Aunt and Godmother to many Nieces and Nephews.
