Obituary of Amy Ricci
It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Amy Ricci (née Payne), aged 52, a beloved wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend.
Amy grew up in Little Neck, NY, the cherished daughter of Jeanne and Brian Payne (deceased). She was a devoted sister to Adam Payne (Laurie).
Amy's greatest accomplishment in life was the love and beauty she nurtured in her family. She was the proud and devoted mother of her two children, Kaylin (20) and Nate (18), whom she raised with her husband of 25 years, Larry. Together, they made their home in Massapequa, NY, creating a life filled with love and joy.
Amy thrived in her financial services profession, most recently with the Wealth Advisory Group in Melville, NY and prior to that she had a tenure of over 10 years with New York Life.
Amy found immense happiness in the everyday moments of life. She took great pride in attending her daughter Kaylin's soccer games as a youth player that included a trip to Lyon, France and most recently at the University at Buffalo. She also cherished the stories and adventures of her son Nate, especially when he would share the thrill of the "catch of the day" from his latest fishing trips.
Amy's gentle spirit, loving nature, and the deep bonds she formed with her family and friends will be profoundly missed. Her legacy of kindness and love will continue to live on in the hearts of all who were fortunate to know her.
A service to celebrate Amy's life will be held at William Law Funeral Home 1 Jerusalem Avenue Massapequa on Friday, August 23rd from 4-9pm, where friends and family can gather to honor her memory and share their stories of a woman who was, above all, a loving soul.
