I was heartbroken when I learned of Kathy's passing. I hadn't talked to her in quite some time and the last email I got from her she was telling me all about her grandsons, and how happy she and Tom were. Though miles separated us, I still felt Kathy in my heart. We were such good friends for many years. Kathy was introduced to me by a friend when we were 18 years old. We were on the commuter train heading for work. It was friendship at first sight, and what springs to my mind is all the fun we had on that commute—and all the laughter. Kathy had such a good sense of humor. Of all the memories I have of our younger days, Kathy stands out the most. She was the precious jewel among my friends, with a generous spirit and a loving disposition. She was always at the ready to help, no matter what the circumstances. I remember all the good times and the singing and harmonizing we did. She had an exceptional voice. I will always remember my dear friend. She enriched my life in so many ways, creating a dwelling place within my heart that cannot be forsaken by time. ~ Chrissey
