Obituary of Dorothy C. Brando

Please share a memory of Dorothy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Dorothy Brando. She passed peacefully on January 1, 2024 at the age of 99.

Dottie's life was well lived and blessed beyond measure. She is preceded in passing by her husband, Thomas, and daughter, Anne Marie McNulty; and is reunited with them in Heaven.

She is survived by children, Lori McIntyre, Victoria McAlister, Thomas Brando, Mary-Jo Carrillo, Robert Brando, and Terri Ryan; son-in-laws, James McNulty, Paul McAlister, Mark Carrillo, and John Ryan; daughter-in-law, Susan Brando; 18 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

In addition to her family, her life was blessed with a successful career and wide circle of lifelong friends.

She will be missed by all who knew her. We celebrate her life with many loving memories alive in our hearts.

In lieu of flowers, and in keeping with Dorothy’s devotion to The Blessed Mother, memorial donations in her name may be made to the Shrine of Our Lady of the Island, Manorville, NY.
