grandpa, there is no words to describe the loss i’m feeling right now. thank you for everything and for always making sure everyone was okay and no one was fighting. you were the best grandpa for alyssa and i growing up, i truly couldn’t have asked for anyone better. you were always there and my biggest supporter throughout everything whether it was showing up to our dance recitals, soccer games, or school events. our memories will live in my head forever from fishing, crabbing, myrtle beach, etc. my life will never be the same without you especially christmas eve because it became such a special tradition for our family. and the way you went out of your way to dress up as santa and hand us out presents just to make us happy is beyond me. you would literally do anything for anyone and it shows in the family that you’ve made. your passion for soccer is what’s going to make me keep playing throughout high school and i’m so happy you got to watch argentina win the world cup one last time. i was rooting for them the whole time because of you. there’s really no words to describe the emptiness in my heart with you gone. my heart physically hurts but it eases me that you’re in so much less pain now. you’ve fought so hard this past year for us and it just shows how strong you are. this is definitely not a goodbye because i will see you again soon and i know you’ll be waiting for all of us with open arms. i hope you know how much we all loved you. i’ll miss you forever, until we meet again grandpa. i love you

Grandpa, I can’t believe you’re gone. There are truly no words to describe how grateful I am to have had you in my life. From eating ice cream and snap peas on the swing in your backyard when I was little, to you dressing up as Santa for me and my cousins on Christmas Eve, to walking on the beach looking for shells on vacation, to crabbing and making bracelets out of fishing line, we have created so many amazing memories that I will never forget. You were always there for me, showing up and supporting me no matter what, never failing to put a smile on my face. I am so glad that you were able to watch me grow into the young adult I am today. I am who I am today partly because of you. You were truly the most selfless man I have ever met, always putting everyone before yourself. You were the best grandfather anyone could ever ask for. Thank you for being my biggest supporter. I miss you so so much Grandpa, may you rest in peace. I love you forever.
Love,
Alyssa

Dad, I will forever be your little girl. You came from nothing as a young child and built this amazing life and family. You should be proud that you have a beautiful wife, 4 children, and 6 amazing grandchildren. We all love you so much and don't know how we will move on without you. I am so thankful for the memories we have created together and the life you have given me. I will never forget waiting for you to come home from work so I could sell you my stickers when I was little, and the family dinners we had. No matter where I was I had to be home for dinner and I will forever cherish that. I will forever remember our beach days in Port Jefferson. We would spend all day there while you would dive for lobsters, and we would get snails and mussels to eat. We would come home and sit for hours, those summer days will forever be In my memory. We made so many memories on our annual trips to Myrtle Beach which became a family tradition we all got to enjoy. Alyssa and Kayla will never forget them. Not only were you an amazing Dad but you were an amazing Grandpa. Sitting on the swing in the Bethpage house with Alyssa eating icecream, and picking snap peas from the garden to giving Kayla and Alyssa horsie rides on your back. I hope you rest easy knowing Mom will be taken care of. I know you always worried about her and wanted to make her happy and make sure she was okay. Up until the end all you cared about was if Mom was okay if she got home safe and if she ate dinner. I am so thankful I got to go on one last trip with you to Atlantic City with you. I know you didn't do it for you but you went for Mom. You must have thanked me 1000 times. You didn't want to admit it but we had so much fun. I will forever remember us playing the Wheel of Fortune machine (which I broke) and the lighting links. You were cheering when we got the bonus hoping one of us would win big I can go on all day about how much I love you and the memories we have created but just know you will forever be missed but never forgotten. This is like a bad nightmare I haven't woke up from. The only peace I have is knowing you are looking down on us and watching over us. Heaven has gained an angel. Till we meet again. Rest in Peace Dad my Papi Chulo! I love you so much.
Love always your daughter,
Cindy

I have the fondest memories growing up across the street from you and your family on Parkview Circle.
You were always busy doing something and always trying to help everyone you could.
The closeness of your family is something to be admired and proud of.
I hope everyone will be able to find peace.
God bless you and your family ❤️

My Dearest Eddie, I love you with you with all my heart from the day we met until the end. They always say you get married in sickness and in health, and we stayed together for sickness and in health until death do us part .I would’ve never imagined life without you. you have given us four wonderful kids and six beautiful grandchildren. I am so grateful to have had you as my husband. you will always be looking down on me and our family to make sure we are OK . You will be truly missed . until we meet again but unfortunately Eddie hopefully it’s not that soon. I have a lot more here to see on earth but I do love you but I will see you one day. I love you with all my heart forever and ever and ever . I will cherish all the great memories we’ve had such as vacationing to place like Atlantic City , cruises, Myrtle Beach, Las Vegas, Canada, Maine , Niagara Falls , Florida and many more . Thank You for all the wonderful vacations you took me on . it feels like just yesterday I met you at Dr. feel funny with your platform shoes, you were standing up against the wall I went up to you and said hi good Lookin, what’s cooking and then the rest was history and you sure gave me a good run for my money but there’s nothing I would’ve ever changed. You are an amazing husband. I truly love you with all my heart, and I am going to miss you more than you’ll ever know. I love you, Papa Chulo. Love , your wife (cookie, babe , mommy ) Juliann
