Joyce and I worked together at PS199Q for many years. There were many days we worked after 3:00 and the 4:00 song was "That's Amore." One day, I must have told her I had a date and she said, "I'm going to do your hair." She was a professional hairdresser as well as professional secretary. After 3:00, she took out the blow dryer and hair wand and I had my hair done in the main office of PS199Q. I have no idea where Anthony, our principal, was but I think he knew. She was also fantastic baker and made zucchini muffins and homemade goodies for birthdays and occasions endlessly. The list is too long.
Joyce will be missed and remembered,
