Anthony was born on October 1, 1931, in Astoria, New York. He is predeceased by his wife, Mary(Sadowski) Romano. They were married in 1952 when he enlisted in the US Army in the 18 th Airborne Corps. as a paratrooper. Anthony is survived by his 6 children, Jo Anne (Ed), Ellen (Joseph-deceased), Anthony, Jr. (Janis), Richard (Vivian), Michael (Rosemarie) and Leigh (Greg). He is also survived by 15 grandchildren and 17 great-grandchildren. After retiring from Local 1 of the Lithographers Union at the age of 56 he retired to Delray Beach, Florida with Mary and played tennis everyday until he was 85 years old. In 2018 he moved to Littleton, Colorado and then in 2021 he moved back to Long Island.
