JB, it was a pleasure working with you and sitting next to you for the last 7 Years. The conversations and moments we've had are endless, and i will remember every single one of them forever. Never forget that one time you showed up to a strict jobsite wearing shorts, or that one time we pranked Jimmy by taking his wheels off his chair so when he sat on it he fell, making seal noises whenever something good happened at our job, listening to horrible screaming metal music and trying to mimic the artists, getting lunch, longhorns, taco bell, and we always had our sugary beverages! I will always remember our days of hitting the gym everyday after work, and talking about how hype we were to go every day. The "specific" team will never be the same without you JB, i will cherish all of our moments we had together, and hope to god you finally have peace. If i can go back and change anything in our journey of working together, i would not change a thing. i wish i can see you walk through the door at 8:30 again, and tell me how much you loved coaching Hockey with your son, or coming in and telling me you made a new song, and you showing me it. i will miss it all. Rest in peace, Big Mirage John Brennan. Love, Mike

JB, BigJohnBrennan. The Mirage! None of this seems real. Really thinking you're going to walk into the office tomorrow and all of this was a big mistake/misunderstanding. It’s been a pleasure working with you these past 9 years and sharing our personal lives with each other. I’ll always remember your terrible taste in music. How you’d put on some really bad album, walk away from your desk and it would be at least 30 minutes later that Mike and I realized we were listening, and you weren’t even there! I will miss our Chess games. I’ll always remember you making “seal noises” when you approved of something. Every time we get burgers from Longhorn, it will be in your honor. I will miss you being part of our conversations “in the back” where almost every time it would go off the rails and we all couldn’t believe what we were talking about. I could go on and on with all these private inside jokes/memories, but that is why we loved you. That is the John Brennan we knew, and we’ll never forget your weird & bizarre sense of humor…and I say that with love and respect. It has been an honor being friends with you. Your Champion family misses you and will never forget you. See ya buddy.

John, where do I being. We worked together for years, and found ourselves in so many funny moments, and you always found the bright side of any circumstance. There was one night where we were sent to a Target to perform an install, and the manager was not having it. We were so taken aback by her approach, we couldn’t even figure out how to leave the store. I’ll never forget you looking at her and saying so calmly as we were rushing to leave: “oh, it was a push instead of a pull… got it!” I laughed so hard that night. I leaned on you for so much life advice, ,and even though I now know that I just aimlessly venting about things that weren’t much of a big deal, you always found the time (and patience) to listen, and offer guidance. When we first met, I didn’t believe that John Brennan was your real name, and you even pulled out your ID to prove it. With my father being 36 years older than you, it seemed too ironic that in a company of less than 30 people, there would be two “John L. Brennan’s.” You were always such a gem of a human. We haven’t talked much since I’ve moved but I’ll forever be grateful for your friendship and composure no matter the situation. My thoughts and prayers go out to your children and family. Rest peacefully brother - till we meet again.
