Joseph Carbone passed away  surrounded by his family. A proud husband to Florence Carbone, a father to 5 children, grandfather to 10  and great grandfather to 20. 

He was born on 1/13/1935 in Lebanon, Connecticut to Giuseppe and Teresa Carbone, both Italian immigrants to the United States. 

He was one of their 5 children and their only son. Joseph enlisted in the Navy and was a veteran of the Korean War. 

 He was a carpenter by trade who raised his family in Queens, New York, moving to Hicksville in 1996 

He was an avid Mets, Cowboys, Devils and Islanders fan, whose hobbies  included woodworking, side jobs  and spending as much time with his family as he could. His Catholic faith was central to life. He was called home to our Lord on May 4th 2023.
