Obituary of Joyce Little

Joyce Little, born Josephine Donato on July 23, 1931 in Flushing  NY, passed away on April 27, 2023.  She was predeceased by her parents, Helen DeMaio Donato and Daniel Donato, her twin brother Vincent(Red) Donato, and her husband John(Jack)Little.

She is survived by her children, Jaclyn Little Miller(Bert) and John Little, Jr., her grandchildren Christina Miller, Jessica Miller Tiefenwerth(Chris), Jake Little(Miranda) and Justin Little, and her great-granchildren Carter Tiefenwerth and Mia Tiefenwerth.

She spent 53 years living in Clinton, CT where she worked for many years at Chesebrough Ponds as an administrative assistant to the Director of Personnel.  Her smile, enthusiasm and cheerfulness was noted and appreciated by all who worked with her.  In 2014 she moved to Bellmore, NY to be closer to her family.

A wake will be held on Monday from 2-4 & 7-9pm.  A mass of Christian burial will be held Wednesday 10am at St. Barnabas The Apostle R.C. Church, 2320 Bedford Avenue, Bellmore.  Interment will be at St. Charles Cemetery, 2015 Wellwood Avenue Farmingdale.  In lieu of flowers, the family welcomes donations to St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital or The Alzheimer’s Association in Joyce’s memory.
