I was so very saddened to learn of Vinny's sudden passing. My thoughts and prayers are with his family as they deal with such a great loss. Vinny was a wonderful man and it was an honor and privilege know him and work under his leadership. I will always remember his kindness, his fairness, his humor and his commitment to our Division as a great leader and Director. He will be missed by so many but his memory will live on.
Rest in Peace, Vinny. My heartfelt condolences to your family. May they take comfort in their many memories of you.

While I am sadden to learn that you’re mourning the loss of your beloved Vincent, it saddens our loving God even more. No doubt, you have many fond memories which will resurface from time to time. And because you do have memories, certainly shows that almighty God has memories as well. Vinny was a very special person and a very special friend. Dennis and I will cherish the many years of friendship we shared for the rest of our lives. Few will know how many lives were truly made better because of things that Vinny did behind the scenes because of his professional sense of decency. The staff of the Division of Financial Operations were served well by him. Vinny is fondly remembered by many here at the Department of Education.
