Obituary of Howard Missbach

Howard Joseph Missbach (81), from both Massapeua, New York and Brooksville, Florida, passed away on February 13, 2023.   Howard Leaves behind a Loving family. A Loving Father to Terri, BarbaraAnn, Howie and Michele. Father in law to Barbara, Anthony, Chris and Chris. Also 11 loving grandchildren: Theresa, Carl, John, Allison, Samantha, Courtney, Joseph, Emily, Jessica, Adam and Melanie. Howards sister Margie and sisters in laws Sharon and Pat families will also be missing him. He was predeceased by his wife Barbara (deceased 2009). Howard, fondly known as Howie, was born to Howard and Margaret, on May 6th, 1941. He attended Niagara University before returning home to Garden City to serve the Police Dept. Howie found his love for cars and retired from the Garden City Police Dept. to pursue a career in the automobile industry. He was also very fond of Antique cars and owned a few in the earlier years. What made Howie the happiest was watching his grandchildren play sports. Some would say he was the biggest Farmingdale Daler Fan. Many of the athletes knew him as Poppy. Visitation for Howie will be at Law Funeral Home 1 Jerusalem Ave, Massapequa, NY 11758, on Monday February 20, 2023 from 4pm -8pm and the Funeral Service will be held February 21, 2023 at Maria Reginia Church at 9:45. Howie will be buried with his wife at Saint Charles Cemetery immediately following.
