Silverstein, Jay P. , of South Farmingdale ,  on Feb. 13, 2023.  Retired NYPD Detective.  Devoted husband of the late Ana Silverstein.  Caring husband of Elva Parra-Silverstein.  Beloved father of  Jesse B. (Barbara) Silverstein, Sylvia (James) Lucci.  Loving grandfather of three grandsons, Jesse Jr., James, and Robert Silverstein.  Cherished brother of Estelle Schneider and Howard (Faye) Silverstein.  Truly loved by his nieces, nephews and friends.  Reposing at the Law Funeral Home, 1 Jerusalem Ave. ,    Massapequa .  Visiting for family and friends Tues. Feb. 14 1030am – 12pm.  Burial to follow at New Montefiore Cemetery , 1180 Wellwood Avenue , W. Babylon, NY 11704
