Joseph Valentino was my loving brother of 76 years. He is survived by his wife Kathy, 3 wonderful sons and 2 grandchildren and another to be born soon. Joseph attended Our Lady of Mt Carmel School in East Harlem, Cardinal Hayes High School in the Bronx and St. John's University in Queens. He worked in Con Edison for over 30 years.
Joseph and I were blessed with a loving family and well over 30 first cousins. We will always remember my Aunt Mary dressing up as a scary father time on New Year's Eve at my Grandparents house. We spent many wonderful summers in Long Branch, New Jersey. Joe loved to watch the Yankees while we went to the beach. As we got older, we began renting a cottage in Hampton Bays. That was Joesph's heaven on earth. Kathy was now part of the Valentino circle. These are just a few of the many fond memories I have of my brother Joseph. He was loved by many, and I will especially miss him.

My sincere condolences to your family. Joe was a good man that I learned to know over the last 15 years. Initially at Jones Beach and then Wantagh Park. Our group pictured, had many laughs together with Joe and loved the deep knowledge and wisdom he shared on many topics. We will all miss him dearly. I will hold him close to my heart. I appreciate him for his friendship and genuine concern for me ,during my medical struggles.
Rest in Peace my friend.

Thank you Ron, I too will miss Joe for his friendship, knowledge and sports acumen. He always looked out for me in my current struggles with health problems.
Jones Beach was the highlight of our day for many years, then Wantagh Park. He was a good friend.
Till we meet again
Bob

Joseph was my first cousin and the same age as my brother Frank and were close as they grew up together and his sister Claire and I grew up like sisters. They both are very special to my family and Joseph will be missed. Rest In Peace my dear cousin.
Love,
RoseAnn & Skip
