Obituary of Ida C. Ernst

Ida (nee Howard) Ernst, 94, of Massapequa, NY passed away peacefully in her home after a brief illness on November 14, 2022. She was born in Providence, RI to the late Martin and Hanora Howard on March 2, 1928. She is predeceased by her 7 sisters and 2 brothers and her beloved son Eddie. Ida dedicated her life to raising her family and will be dearly missed by her loving daughter Kathleen and her many nieces and nephews. Ida cherished her Irish heritage and loved to socialize with her family and friends. She had a successful 35 year career in packaging and sales, along the way developing lifelong friendships with her colleagues and clients. With a twinkle in her eyes and an infectious smile, Ida was known for her witty sense of humor and colorful jokes. Look out Heaven, here she comes!
