My strong religious belief is that for certain Pete is among God and Jesus and the Angels in Heaven, reunited with his loved ones.
I was his mother-in-law's home-bound minister for many years and a good friend of her daughter Mrs. Hugo Masslich (Elisa). I was sorry to hear about Pete's passing. God Bless His Entire Family. Pete S.

The enormous amount of relatives and friends of Pete, who showed up Tuesday to say farewell to Pete--some who rode Harleys with him, some who worked with him, neighbors, friends, expressed their sincere love, adoration and admiration for Pete. He was "rich" in friendships and it showed. He will be missed by everyone forever. What a guy.

My heartfelt condolences. Peter was a great friend and a great neighbor. He was the first person to come knock on our door when we moved to Henry Street. He wanted to welcome us and asked if we had a daughter because he had a daughter (Marisa) and he wanted them to meet so they could become friends. That was the type of neighbor and father he was. He will be missed. May he rest in eternal peace.

Peter is now safe and comfortable in Heaven with our Lord. Peter was the best friend a person could ever ask for. The best father and husband imaginable. He enjoyed life and people, and he lived each day to the fullest. He was my best friend and riding partner for most of our lives and I love him like a brother. To AnnaMarie, Marisa, Peter, John, his beloved best friend, JAXX, HIS DOG AND BEST FRIEND; Bosco (recently deceased pet of John & Marisa, and to Rocco, to Jamie, Peter's girlfriend, and their dog Winter, to Marisa's in-laws, Silvana & Mike & Stefano, and to Pete's many close friends, to his brothers and their families.
I celebrate Pete's life today because that is what I believe he would want me to do. I remember his laughter, his joy, his pride in his Harleys, his classic Mercedes SEL, AND his beloved Chevy red pick-up truck. Not to forget his love of good food, wine and a beer here and there.
But mostly I remember his wonderful devotion to his family, his bravery as he faced his illness with a great attitude and determination to beat it, which I prayed he would forever.
I will remember his smile, his laughter and his love of life and his dear family. Pete is in God's arms and reunited with his loved ones, and that is the consolation I hope his family will give them some peace. He will forever be with them, watching over each one of them forever, and ever.
