Lawrence, It is unreal to know you have moved on. We shared so much of our lives together…. Sleepovers, reading comic books, playing Partridge Family, riding bikes, getting into trouble and annoying Lorraine.
We have literally spent all of holidays together since we were born and as our family grew. You have been an amazing cousin, friend and uncle to my sons. Always fun, a bit over the top and generous.
I know you had a deep faith in Jesus and that now, you have welcomed by all of our family who have gone before you. Give Aunt Caroline, my mom and dad, Dennis, Tony and grandma a big hug from me. I will miss you.

To my dearest, oldest Friend. I sit here absorbing the news of your passing and I am flooded with memories of our childhood. Our Moms were best friends, so naturally we bonded. Early childhood found us playing outside on 71st Street...hide n seek, kickball. bike riding, roller skating, running after the ice cream truck (Bungalow Bar). I distinctly remember you misplacing your space retainer (dental appliance) and the entire block searched but never found. We would play school in the basement and eventually you started writing plays. The entire "Block" would be involved, whether it be acting, set decoration or marketing tickets to the surrounding blocks. This activity was always a summer event, so loved and cherished. We would share homework challenges as we progressed through grade school. High school took us to separate paths, but we always communicated. The years went by but the contact continued as we shared tidbits of our lives. I danced with you 3 years ago and I know you are being welcomed to heaven singing and dancing. I take comfort today in knowing that you are reunited with your mom and I know she is embracing you and maybe luring you to drink a "Manhattan" and I envision my mother not far behind. Lawrence may you rest in eternal peace.
Your friend forever, Ingrid Erker Rubenacker
