Dear Dougherty Family,
Providentially I happened to login to Facebook and saw the news of your husband and father’s passing into the full presence of God Himself and Jesus, Our Redeemer.
As my wife and I drove the local backroads admiring the Harvest Moon, we passed cornfields in various stages: some having already fulfilled their purpose and have been harvested; some browning, soon to be harvested for cattle grain; and some more recently planted and bound for the tables of the famous Shady Maple Buffet. So it is with each of us: given life for various purposes, and maturing at various yield rates.
On behalf of the Hoover family, we note the many lives that have been blessed through Jim’s faithful leadership in so many practical ways - steadfastly. Our hearts are especially with you these days - but don’t we each look forward to that day in which together once again, we will fully exalt the Humble Sacrificial Lamb, for us sinners, slain?
