RIP Peg, Rachel and I have the fondest memories of both you and Don and the many, many laughs we shared together at Theresa and Drew's home. You both were the life of the party and brought many smiles to many people. We will always remember your infectious laugh and warm smile. You will be missed and always be loved by many. RIP
Love Rachel & Bobby

Peggy; a life long presence to me. My first cousin, older by 13 years and always there. As a helper to my mom, after school in Woodside, and later as a true friend with her beloved Don by her side. I remember babysitting for her “boys” and then becoming a part of their extended family as they grew up and married. Peggy was never the noisy one, preferring to chat more one to one. She was always up for a party though and would drive from her home in Massapequa to my home in New Jersey to join a ladies luncheon with her sister Mary and my sisters. Peggy had no sense of direction, so this was indeed quite an undertaking. She told me that she would get in the left lane of the Cross Bronx Expressway and stay there knowing it would get her over the GW Bridge on the upper level to NJ. She was unflappable in almost any situation and loved babies, any baby. A warm presence, with her red lipstick and beach chair in hand as she walked the dunes to join the group in Hither Hills. Montauk, the place she met the love of her life. Don. She will be greatly missed by her children and grandchildren and by all of us who knew her. With fondness and love, Bettyanne, David and Emily.

We are so very sad to hear about the passing of Peggy. She and the Krautman family were an integral part of our family from the moment we moved to Massapequa in 1963. They were always at our house or us at there house. We vacationed together, played ball together, and in Scouts together. We will never forget all of the great times at Robert Moses on Fire Island. Peggy and our dad were always the life of the party and she will be missed by her family and ours. Rest In Peace Peggy Krautman, we love you.
The Barber family.
