Obituary of Elizabeth M. Gimber "Liz Reisert"

Elizabeth Mary Gimber (Liz Reisert), 58, of Massapequa, New York, passed away on April 19th, 2021. Funeral service will be held at William E. Law Funeral Home on Saturday, April 24th at 8:30PM. Liz was born in Brooklyn, New York to Elizabeth “Betty” and Philip Gimber on June 2nd, 1962. She went to high school at Plainedge and graduated in 1980. She worked as an Office Manager for Enecon Corporation for 25 years. She loved being with her friends, painting ceramics, camping and going to the beach. She was previously involved in the Plainedge School District PTA, Nassau County Girl Scouts and PGSA Softball. Liz is survived by her husband, Steven; children, Emily and Steven; father, Philip and brothers, Richard and Philip. She is also leaving behind her nieces, Milana, Victoria, Brianna and Kellianne; nephews, Scott, Matthew, Robert and Louis; sisters-in-law, Lisa, Marta, Karen and Diane; brothers-in-law John and Ron; future son-in-law Nareg and many loving family and friends. She is preceded in death by her mother, Betty. Liz will be fondly remembered for her warm personality and big heart. She was a friend to all and loved her community.
