I was so saddened to hear that Bob had died.
He worked with my son at Rosemary Kennedy, and showed Michael kindness and compassion. That’s not always easy with a high energy, impulsive young man, but Bob did it with a smile. I will always be grateful for his work with Michael.
Fly with the angels Bob.
Gay, and your whole family, I am so sorry for your loss. Please accept our most heartfelt condolences.
Love, Linda,Lenny,Megan,and especially Mikey Mancuso

For all of us lucky enough to have worked with Bob and be his friend, his departure leaves a gaping hole in our lives. Quite simply, 'The Colonel" was one of a kind about whom a bad word was never uttered. His ability to be calm, focused and irrepressibly positive in finding solutions amidst swirling challenges and negativity is legendary. He had the biggest of hearts, a bottomless supply of optimism and a soaring spirit fueled by generosity. Just seeing and listening to him made me feel better, laugh more, smile broader and think deeper. He will be missed mightily but what he left behind is everlasting. My sincere condolences to the absolute loves of Bob's life - Gay, Kelly and his entire family.

I was introduced to Bob from a family friend named Whitey Hendrickson as I was trying to land a job in professional sports fresh out of St. John’s. I remember the interview well & how poised Bob was when he told me that he didn’t have a paying position for me but could offer me an unpaid internship. I was so bummed but couldn’t say no to such a great & kind man. Thanks Bob for making my NBA dream come true!! Love & prayers to the Moran family.

Gay, Kelly and the entire Moran family,
I think you know how much Bob meant to the Nets family. My heart is broken for your family and friends. Bob was an easy going guy who always had a smile and always made people smile. Bob's ability to make everyone laugh with just a simple comment or reply will be what I remember the most. I remember my first day with the Nets being introduced to everyone and meeting Bob who made me feel comfortable joining the small staff which became a family for many of us for many years. Bob was one of our leaders and I'll always be grateful for his mentoring. There are too many memories to list but one of my favorite is the Miami all star game with Lou, Bob, Maureen and me. Bob, may you rest in peace and we will all miss you very much. Jennie
