Dear Angela, each sunflower we see
is not as bright and cheerful as your smile;
nor could a field of springtime flowers be,
whose blossoms spread across each sunny mile.
A rose in June could never feel as soft,
as your sweet soul that Heaven holds today.
God called to you to be with Him aloft,
but what He took, from us He took away.
Now, when we walk each day without you here,
upon a path through farm or city street,
we'll think of you through every month and year
until the time when once again we'll meet.
Our dearest friend, our friendship from the start
was meant to be and fill each other's heart.
