Obituary of Dr. Manuel I. Domingo Jr.
Please share a memory of Dr. Manuel to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Dr. Manuel I. Domingo Jr. on Jan. 1, 2021. Loving husband of the late Nina. Loving father of Ann Domingo-Hoenig (Robert Hoenig), Emmanuel (Diana), and David. Adored grandfather of Thomas, Nina and Juliana. He had three living sisters: Violeta Rada, Zenaida Pineda, Nelinda Inocencio.
Avid theater lover who enthusiastically awaited each Broadway opening.
Music was a big part of his life as he loved to play his Steinway piano and listen to his plethora of LPs on his large Bose speakers. His very large extended family Manila and Germany were always welcome with a big warm embrace and he always loved taking everyone “around” New York City to see Broadway and the Tourist sites. He loved to dress in his three piece suits and was always early as a sign of respect. His kind, gentle, quiet, yet pensive manner was very Calming & relaxing to be around. Travel was his other excitement as was skiing as he really didnt move his upper body when he made a turn, but this was his signature move. Playing tennis with his family was another pastime he enjoyed. His favorite part of the day was having dinner with us during Jeopardy & Wheel of Fortune as We all guessed the answers. He sat and laughed quietly but his smile lit up the room. He just wanted to be around his family.Entrusted to the care of William E. Law Funeral Home. Mass of Christian Wed. Jan.6 11:15am @ Our Lady of Mercy RC Church in Hicksville. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial Park. He was dear to us all and will be missed.
