Obituary of Dorothy H. Endres
Please share a memory of Dorothy to include in a keepsake book for family and friends.
Dorothy Endres was the friendliest, sweetest, and most caring woman you will ever meet. She always had a smile on her face. She would talk to anyone and everyone; even if she was just walking past someone’s table at a restaurant, she would say, “Hi.” She loved music, especially from the era that she grew up in. She once worked in the Empire State Building. She loved to dance, even if it was just a small jig she could do while holding onto her walker. She loved to laugh. She loved to go out to eat at restaurants with her family and friends. She loved buying everyone gifts from Marshall’s, where she had fun shopping with her daughter Jackie and her grandson Erick, especially at Christmas time. But most importantly, she loved her family and all her grandchildren.
Dorothy was one week away from turning 94 years old and was the longest-lived member of her clan, surpassing her grandmother, who had lived until 90. She passed away very peacefully with her close family by her side. She is survived by her sister June, her son George, her daughter Jacqueline, her grandchildren Erick, Ian, Sean, Christopher, and Kateryna, her “adopted” grandchildren Victoria and Paul, her great-grandchildren Genevieve and Theodore, and many nieces and nephews.
