Barbara Julia Krause, age 77, of Massapequa, passed on June 2, 2020. Born in Greenpoint, Brooklyn on May 1, 1943 to the late Stanley and Mae Jankowski. She was a devoted and loving wife to Adam Krause who passed in 2006. Barbara was a loving and proud mother to Karen DeLucie, Sandra Robinson, Janet Krause, Eric and Michael; and cherished mother-in-law of John DeLucie, Walter J. Robinson III, James Keil, Donna Krause and Tara Krause. She was a loving and caring grandma to Christopher, Amanda, Jonathan, Jason, Justin, Lauren, Jordan, Autumn, Ryan and Dylan. All were her greatest treasures. Barbara was a loving sister to Joan Krasinski and beloved sister-in-law of Charles Krasinski, Thomas and Regina Krause, Vincent and Judith Borak, George and Ann Krause and Ronald Krause. She was loved by many nieces and nephews and was an adored daughter-in-law of the late Adam and Jean Krause. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend. Her family was her life. Her friends were family. She loved to entertain and was an amazing cook. Barbara loved being surrounded by her family, friends and laughter; and she enjoyed sharing stories and fond memories with all of us. She will be remembered for her kindness and wonderful laugh. Her love, care and support will be greatly missed.
