Obituary of Carole A. Drazka

Carole Drazka was born in New York, NY on November 8, 1938. She passed away peacefully on June 8, 2020 in her own home surrounded by family. A loving mother and caregiver, Carole loved to cook and enjoyed preparing meals for her family and friends, most especially over the holidays. For many years, she worked part-time in the banking industry and as a bookkeeper. She loved to play games, paint ceramics, and enjoyed playing slot machines. She devoted much of her time and energy as a caregiver to family members, including her mother until she passed away at the age of 92. Her granddaughter, Valerie Thomas lovingly cared for her over the last six months of her life. Carole’s children and other granddaughter also provided assistance with her care in the recent months. The family gives everyone who cared for Carole their greatest and warmest gratitude. Carole is survived by her husband, John; her two daughters, Kim and Leane, and their spouses, Rich and Khyle; her son, Daniel; two granddaughters, Jessica and Valerie; her sister and brother-in-law, Jeanette and John Kautz; her brother and sister-in-law, Gene and Ellen Avidano; six nieces and nephews and their children. She was preceded in death by her sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Frances and Ronald Nesnadny; her niece, Karen Nesnadny; and her nephew, Ronald Nesnadny, Jr. A funeral service celebrating her life will be held on Monday, June 15th, 2020, at 10:00AM at St. William the Abbott, 2000 Jackson Avenue, Seaford, New York.
