Obituary of Mildred F. Rayher

Mildred Frances Rayher, age 96, passed peacefully at home on Monday June 8th, 2020. Born in Chicago on January 7, 1924 to the late Pauline Bobalek and Henry Bokor. She was a W.A.V.E. in the United States Navy, a surgical nurse stationed at the Naval Hospital in Portsmouth, VA. That is where she met her husband John J. Rayher. They were married May 18, 1945. She devoted her life to raising her four children. She was active in the Maria Regina Church Choir. Singing was her joy in life. She is survived by her children: Jack(Erica), Ron(Pat), Susan(John)Mendoza, and Mike(Candy)and a grandmother of eight grandchildren: Lisette, Colin, Larissa, Cody, Kelsey, Kiley, Matthew, and Luke. She was predeceased by her husband of 71 years Jack on September 4, 2016.
