Hello and I don't know if you are still checking the Tribute Wall, but my name is James Morris. I'm the son of Rose Agnes Morris (formerly Rose Guida). My mom was Ambrose's first cousin. I remember Ambrose well though we haven't seen in each other in quite some time. He was a wonderful man full of life. I have a picture of him signing at my wedding back in 1987. I don't have to watch the video to remember he was singing "Night and Day...you are the one!" I also included a picture of my mom and Ambrose at what must be three years old?? They are standing in front of her Dad's (George Guida) plumbing supply store. Great photo that mom always had out in the living room. Mom passed away on March 3rd, just a couple weeks ago. Although my condolences are late, I am sorry for your loss and will remember Ambrose in my thoughts and prayers. I think its safe to say that the family is complete in heaven and there is nothing but joy, singing and some great Italian food! God bless you.

Thanks, Andy, for being such a kind, generous, and thoughtful friend. Lots of good memories. Say "hi" to Steve for me, hopefully one of these days we'll get together again for a good steak and a few drinks. Rest In Peace.

I met Andy and his family in the early 1970s, my brother and I kept boats docked on the same canal in Bellmore/Wantagh. My brother Paul who was a young mechanic worked on Andy’s cars and he would drop them off at my family’s house. During one of those times he asked me if I needed a job, I was 19 and working part time in a deli so I said sure, the next day I started working on one of Andy’s survey crews which I continued until a slowdown in the 1970s and I pursued another career for 24 years. Because of the people I worked with during those early Andy years, I maintained friendship with one of his crew chiefs , Bill Fehringer, who started his own surveying practice. I started working for Fehringer Surveying full time in 2001 and just retired March 27 of this year, the day of Andy’s passing. A lot of good things happened in my life with Andy being part of. He reconnected with my brother Paul and was kind to Paul’s sons , Will and Luke, he would meet them in Key West during their vacations. I will miss him, and always will remember his friendship.
