Obituary of John A. Kaczynski

Kaczynski-John Alexander of Seaford, on December 30, 2019 at the age of 87. Decorated Korean War marine corps veteran and retired engineer. In 1957, he married the love of his life, the late Arline (nee Van Hooser), whose unconditional love and support allowed his career as a principal at Lehr Associates Consulting Engineers in NYC to flourish while also allowing time for golf at his favored Hempstead Golf and Country Club. Together, John and Arline raised four beautiful daughters, Valerie, Linda, Janice and Karen, were care givers to multiple pets (including for John, the late Eloise) and joyfully welcomed four sons-in-law, Robert, Robert, Steve and the late Adam, one grandson, Robert,Jr., six granddaughters, Krista, Alexandra, Brianna, Susan, Makayla and Jessica, one granddaughter-in-law, Krystina, and one future grandson-in-law, Kerry, into the family. John will forever be remembered as a compassionate family man who left an indelible impression on those lives he touched. Thanks for the memories, Dad!
