July 10, 1939 – December 27, 2019
On December 27th, Nancy Florentz, 80, the loving matriarch of our family passed away peacefully and was met at heaven’s gate by her daughter Laurie. Nancy is survived by her 10 children, Steven (Karen), Timothy (Gina), Christopher (Dorothy), John (April), Susan (Paul), Mary (Michael), Michael (Lisa), Patricia (Scott), Linda, and Eileen (Joseph), her 23 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren and 2 sisters, Barbara and Alison.
Nancy was a strong, selfless woman who put everyone in front of herself. Her big heart, beautiful laugh and warm smile was infectious and is irreplaceable. Nancy was always at the heart of every gathering… surrounded by her children, daughters-in-law and sons-in law, grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held at William E. Law Funeral Home 1 Jerusalem Avenue, Massapequa, NY on December 29th, from 2-4 pm and 7-9 pm. Then at 10 am on Monday, December 30th, a mass will be held at St. Frances De Chantal 1309 Wantagh Ave, Wantagh, NY. Interment to follow at Pinelawn Memorial 2030 Wellwood Avenue Farmingdale, NY.
