Obituary of Frank A. Kubicki Jr.

Frank A. Kubicki Jr., 72, peacefully went with the Lord on Dec. 6, 2019 at his home in Seaford, NY, following a courageous battle with complications from Diabetes. He survived over 21 years of being cancer free after receiving a miraculous healing of third stage, small cell lung cancer that occurred in August of 1999, at Our Lady of the Island Shrine in Eastport, NY. This extraordinary healing is one among countless healings that have taken place through the ministry of the late Fr. Edward McDonough. Frank was born in Williamsburg, NY on Jan. 20, 1947. Frank after marrying his one and only love, Mary Jankowski, became a father at 20. He was sworn in as a Nassau CountyPolice Officer on April 25, 1969, at the age of 22 years old. He retired after 35 years on the force at the Fourth Precinct. After 53 years of marriage, he is survived by his beloved. During all of the trials in life, they stood by each other with unconditional love and support. Mary gave Frank round the clock care until his final breath. Frank looked to God for strength during the many years he was sick and suffering. He had a great sense of humor and loved to make people laugh. An advid fisherman, Frank loved to fish as often as he was able with his family and friends. It's no wonder his three daughters can cast a line with the best of them! A Devoted father to Marie Pustorino (Paul), Diana Bogashewicz (John) and Linda Kelly (Chris). Cherished grandfather of James, Brian, Jon, Sean, Matthew, Christopher, Nicole, Brett, Alexandra and Darah. Adored brother of Susan Civitello. Dear Brother-in-law to Terry Sciara (John), Ann Swital (Al), Jane Weber (William) and the late John Civitello. Loving Uncle to Suzanne (John), John, Phyllis, Marie, Lisa, Donald (Michelle), John (Carla), Alan, Jennifer (George), William (Litchia), Stephanie (Brian). Reposing at William E. Law Funeral Home, 1 Jerusalem Avenue, Massapequa. Family will receive friends Wednesday from 9 – 10:30 am for solemn prayer. A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered on Wednesday, Dec. 11, 2019 at 10:45 AM at Maria Regina Church, 3945 Jerusalem Ave, Seaford, NY 11783. Interment at St. Charles Cemetery - Section 10, Range B, Grave 73-75. In lieu of flowers, contributions in Frank's name can be made the Diabetes Center at St. Francis Hospital, 100 Port Washington Blvd., Roslyn, NY 11576 / (516) 562-6000. Frank will be truly missed by his family and friends. We pray God with cradle him in his arms.
