John is remembered by me as the wonderful gardener who turned his backyard into a virtual garden of exotic flowers, a bounty of numerous, delicious vegetables, but most of all a very spiritual man who was very devoted to his wife Theresa, his daughters and his nine grandchildren.
The simple things in life made him happy, most of all his family.
That is how I shall remember John.
Love, Elisa (Lee)

Dear Tee, and family.
I remember the first time i met John,
in the fall.1968. You called me to come meet you. Seems someone or two fell asleep and dropped a cigarette in the sofa at John's moms house. Well, i came over and the rest is history. Claud and I will always remember the times we spent and shared in the attic. We grew up together and shared so many of the same experiences.
Claud and i remember John as someone who had one foot in the material world and the the other in the spiritual world, always trying to find a balance. He was unique that way and we loved that about him.
Love Lou, Claudine

Theresa, dear sister, I sent you my Mass card to your home for a Mass to be in honor of John, at my local church here upstate on January 20th, I figured the card would get to your home, and at the time I got it, I did not know the details of the service place.
My thoughts are with all of you, and I wrap my heartfelt hug around you and the family. All my love, Lee
