Shocked and saddened to read of the passing of this gentle, soft-spoken lady and devoted teacher. We were friends at Queens College many years ago. Although we didn't have much contact down thru the years, we last spoke at great length in 2015 at the time of our 50th anniversary college reunion. Sad news indeed. Rest in peace, old friend.

Yvonne, I am heartbroken that I will no longer be able to have a conversation with you. Being your caregiver for a short time was a pleasure. You were a woman of wisdom, with a kind heart. I enjoyed listening to your stories about your students and your travelling the world and your family. I never told you this, but you reminded me of my grandmother. I will forever treasure the time that we spent together. GOD knows best. R.I.P Yvonne. Bridgette

Dear Yvonne, I’m so sad this day had to come. At first I was your caregiver. Then we became such good friends. I will miss you reading me the newspaper every morning. Or us doing puzzles to pass by time. Most of all I will miss all the time we spent together for 2 years. You have taught me soo much about myself and life. I hope you are in a better place. And with Tony. I will truly miss you soooo much Til we meet again. Love you Always.
