God was looking down at Planet Earth a few years ago and decided he needed a partner to help him set the planet right. Too much violence, too much disrespect for Mother Earth. So, God looked and looked and finally found someone who was kind and wise and loving and caring and who loved the beautiful trees and flowers He had given us. And God said: “Siri, call Paul Bowen for me.” And so began the dialogue between God and Paul about what to do about the problems on earth. After a time, Paul agreed to help God ‘right the ship’ we call home. The thing that worried Paul the most was that his family and friends would miss him so much but God said: “When they find out that you are helping me and all the people of the world, it will ease their pain.” And so, Paul is sitting there with Him trying to make the world a better place for all. Thank you Paul for all that you are about to do.

Dear Kathy,
I'm trying to find the words but there aren't any. Paul was awesome and the only person I know that was as caring, loving, generous and funny as him was Kathleen. Now they will both be together again and that is the only thing I can hold onto right now. My heart is forever broken in half and the world will never be the same without Paul.
I love you and Paul and I am here if I can help in any way.
Sincerely,
Andy

Kathy,
We are so terribly sorry to hear about Paul's passing. Our hearts genuinely ache at the loss of such a warm-hearted, honorable man, with such a twinkle in his eye - one that I'll always remember from when I was younger. We know he fought the good fight and he fought it surrounded by love and strength.
We love you and are so sorry we cannot attend the service. Both Eileen and I are thinking of you and can only hope you know how much love and support surround you, hoping that provides some sort of comfort during this time.
Please accept our donation in lieu of our attendance, but know that our hearts are heavy.
Love and hugs to you and Jessica, we are sending all of the good vibes we have your way.
Love,
Laurie and Eileen (and Colby)

I am so very sorry for your loss. Please find comfort in God's sure promise of a resurrection as set forth in the Bible. (Acts 24:15; John 5:28,29) Those who are raised to life will have the prospect of never again being subject to misery, sickness, or death. (Revelation 21:4) I hope that reflecting on these thoughts will give you some relief during this difficult time.
