Obituary of Brian A. Kammerer

     On Wednesday, January 24th, 2018, Brian Kammerer, a beloved husband, father, brother, and

uncle passed away at the age of 60. Brian, a Huntington native, completed his undergraduate

and MBA degrees at the University of Albany and St. John’s university, respectively. He would

go on to become the Chief Operating Officer of DLJ Mutual Funds and Chief Financial Officer of

Clipper Trading associates. His passions included dancing, golf, basketball, hosting (and being

the life of) parties, and cigars. Those passions were exceeded only by his love for his wife,

Kathy, and three children, Patrick, Colleen, and Katie. He will be remembered fondly for his

warmth, kindness, generosity, and larger-than-life personality.

A celebration of Brian’s life will be held from 7-9p at William E. Law Funeral Home at 1

Jerusalem Avenue, Massapequa, NY on Thursday, January 25th, and again on Friday, January

26th from 2-4p and 7-9p. A funeral service is scheduled for 9:45a on Saturday, January 27th at

Maria Regina RC Church at 3945 Jerusalem Avenue, Seaford, NY.
