Dear John and Family,
I say this with a heavy heart, Everything in life is a lesson or a blessing. In Life, it does not matter how you start or even what you have done. It matters how connected you were and related at the end to those who meant the most. These past 16 months, John and I had developed a brotherhood that I had wanted for my whole life with him! We spoke almost everyday about family and sports. You were my brother and you will be greatly missed by so many but mostly by Barbara and your three beautiful girls. They took such great care of you and loved you dearly and unconditionally until your very last breath. It was beautiful to witness so much love. Johnny never complained about his illness or felt sorrow for himself. Johnny willed himself to live to experience the bridal and baby showers, wedding and birth of his grandson this year. He would always say "You have no idea", but he loved ever minute of it. Johnny was strong to endure the pain and treatments that hopefully no one will ever have too. My brother is no longer in pain and will not have to suffer anymore. Johnny is at Peace now. I never knew you as Loopy, I only knew you as my brother John and I will miss you!
