George was a Senior Member of the Institute of Electrical & Electronic Engineers & Member of the Vehicular Technology
Society of IEEE
He was a fellow of the Radio Club of America
He was a member of the Knights of Columbus Memorare Council
For over 50 years & a 4th degree knight
He was a WWII Sgt. & was also in the army reserves 77 Division from 1947 to 1950 & NYS National Guard 42 Division from 1950 to 1951 & a member of the American Legion
