To my Uncle George and all my cousins: We can't tell you all how sorry we are. We didn't get a chance to see Aunt Evelyn very often, but she was always in our thoughts and we loved her very much. My happiest memories are of all the wonderful holidays we spent together when we were all young. The house was full with parents, grandparents, sisters, aunts, uncles, cousins, love and laughter, just as it should be. I'll always be grateful for the phone call we shared just a few weeks ago. We talked about everything, family, memories, pets, and the lifelong happiness she and Uncle George had experienced with everyone they loved. It was as if time had never passed, and I'll never forget it. I hope and pray that she is now celebrating a joyous reunion with my dad, Aunt Dorothy, Uncle Jerry, and Grandma and Grandpa, looking out for all of us as our newest guardian angel, and waiting for the time when we can all be together once again. My heart is broken for all of us, and we will always love and remember her. All our love, Michael and Ellen.
