Obituary of Frederick R. Drexler

It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of Frederick R. Drexler, December
19, 2024, at the age of 71, from natural causes. Fred was born in Queens, New York, on
June 30, 1953, to the late Frederick J. Drexler and Gloria Olsen (Harold Olsen).

Fred worked as a skilled electrician in New York for many years and always offering his
help and assistance to those in need. He enjoyed a simple and peaceful life and was a
fan of watching hockey and other sports. Fred will be remembered for his humor,
kindness and generosity to many.

Fred is survived by his sister-in-law, Margaret Drexler (brother, Robert Drexler deceased),
fourteen first cousins, and other extended family members and friends, including the
Guyer family in Pennsylvania, and Eileen Cain and Alison Lynch (George Lynch).

A Funeral Mass to celebrate Fred’s life will be held at Sacred Heart Church (Bayside,
New York), on Saturday, January 4, 2024 at 10:15 a.m.
