Jennie Federici Obituary

10/24/1926-12/16/2024

Jennie was born on October 24,1926 and had six brothers and sisters. Her mother became a single parent at a young age due to the death of her father. Jennie and her siblings became lifelong friends and banned together to help their family thrive. The love she learned as a child carried forward to her husband Anthony who she married on August 1, 1948. Their 64 year marriage produced three loving children. Jennie’s legacy is one filled with love, empathy and emotional support. She was seen as a guardian angel to her family members. Everyone knew that Jennie was always ready to protect her family and make their problems disappear. Jennie always looked forward to cooking and hosting Sunday dinners for her family. This tradition continued until her death. Jennie did not always have enough strength to cook, but she loved to sit at the table and share family news updates. As a young woman she became a seamstress and took jobs to help supplement her family's income. Her sewing skills also put her in high demand at home when her family members needed their clothes mended or altered. Jennie Federici succumbed to a long battle with old age on December 16th, 2024. She was 98 years old. Her children Robert, Joanne, and Marilyn, grandchildren Gabrielle, Ashley, Michael, Christin, Jennifer, Jillian, Daniel and great grandchildren Olivia, Owen and John Patrick will miss her deeply. Our guardian angel here on Earth has now changed her location to heaven.

Jennie had a special place in her heart for two favorite charities. She enjoyed donating to St. Judes Children’s Research Hospital and St. Joseph's Indian School. In lieu of flowers we request that donations be made to these charities in her memory. The addresses are as follows:
