Obituary of Anthony Baranello

Anthony Baranello, 86 of Massapequa, NY, passed away on September 15, 2024, in Massapequa.

A funeral service will be held at Maria Regina Church on Thursday, September 19 at 10:45 AM.

Visitation will be held at William E. Law Inc. Funeral Home on Wednesday, September 18 from
3 PM – 5 PM and 7 PM – 9 PM.

Anthony was born in Brooklyn, NY to Dominick and Lucy Baranello on June 13, 1938. He was a
member of the first graduating class at Bethpage High School.

He went on to earn a degree in nursing from Farmingdale State College.

He was an employee of the Town of Oyster Bay for many years and retired in the early 1990s.

Anthony is survived by his sister Patti; his children: Toni Ann (Peter), Dominick (Laura Jean), and
Jodi; his grandchildren: Jennie, Peter (Leticia), Nicholas, Summer and Dominick; and great-
grandson Peter Lucas. Additionally, he leaves behind his sister-in-law Gloria, nieces, nephews and
granddogs. He is preceded in death by his wife Jennie, his parents Dominick and Lucy and his sister
Theresa.
