Obituary of Timothy W. Kunz

Timothy, age 61, of Massapequa Park, passed away on July 11, 2024 surrounded by his family.

Tim was the loving husband of Lisa and proud father and grandfather of Justin and his wife Marissa and their son, Grayson Anthony.  Tim leaves behind his devoted brother Eric and his wife, Martha and his nieces, Sofia and Georgina. Tim was the beloved brother-in-law of Sally Mitidieri and her husband Brent and his nephews, Kyle and Zack.  He is also survived by many cousins, including Bobbi Jo Pyne and Sean O'Connor and their families.  He will be sorely missed by his canine buddy Dixon. 

Tim leaves behind countless devoted friends of whom he has known for 40-plus years. He cherished all of his friendships with so many people and enjoyed many special times and celebrations with them. Tim was the son of Christine Trauth and her husband Malcolm, both of whom preceded him in death.  He is survived by his father Walter Kunz. 

Tim was always happiest driving his 2006 Mustang Convertible on Ocean Parkway.  Tim also liked to perform random acts of kindness to people he met along his way, without expecting anything in return.  His ultimate act of kindness was being an organ donor. 

He will be greatly missed by all.
