Joan Rita Maenza Obituary

Joan was born in Brooklyn NY. Her parents were John Mc Mullen and Mary Elizabeth Pollock. Joan was the third of four sisters and attended St Sylvesters School in Brooklyn. She married Thomas Maenza moved Massapequa Park where she resided for 60 years. Joan went on to have 3 children Karen Hennessy, Donna Fitzgerald and Thomas Maenza along with 6 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Joan enjoyed reading romance novels and sewing making numerous clothes for herself as well as family. In retirement she joined the Brady Park Senior Club where playing Mexican Train and taking trips by bus kept her busy and was proud to be a part of the “Brady Bunch”. Joan spent the last 6 years in Florida living with her daughter.
