I have only just discovered Jim Pepe died. I’m so sad. We just called him Pepe at Elon College. He was a breath of fresh air, everybody’s friend. We reconnected in 2015 at our 50th class reunion at Elon. For a time he moved to Martin County, Florida, where I live. But he was having trouble selling his house in Long Island. I guess he moved back to New York. I wish I’d kept in closer touch. Rest in peace, my wonderful friend.
