Obituary of Thomas A. Creaven

Thomas (Tom) Creaven, 81, of Massapequa, New York passed away on January 13, 2024 in his home surrounded by loving family.

 Funeral Mass will be held at Maria Regina Church on Wednesday, January 17 at 10:45 AM. Burial will follow at Cemetery of the Holy Rood, Westbury, New York. Visitation will be held Monday, January 15 from 6:00-9:00 PM, and Tuesday, January 16 from 2:00-4:00 PM and 7:00-9:00 PM.

Tom was born in Corona Queens to Emily and John on November 3, 1942. He is an Army veteran and dedicated 35 years of his life as a Nassau County Police Detective. He enjoyed golf, reading, martinis, trips to Atlantic City with his wife and family, and watching some of his favorite shows, Murder She Wrote, Monk, and NCIS. Tom is survived by his wife of 58 years, Patricia, his brother John (Roberta), his 5 children, Diane (James), Barbara (Bob), Thomas (Cathy), James (Tammy), and Robert (Megan), 12 grandchildren, and 1 great grandchild. We celebrate his life with many loving memories alive in our hearts.
