I have many, many fond memories of Emilia and of course Andrea as well. I met Emilia as a new young bride when I was 11 years old. They were friends of my grandfather. I would babysit their son when I was in high school. Emilia would cook wonderful meals and give me cooking tips as well as share stories of the “old country”. She always treated me like family and as such they were my extended family. My condolences to the entire Alfieri and Simonetti families. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this sad time.
