Vito was born on April 13, 1933 in Fontechiari, Italy. He moved to the United States when he was 14 years old.  Since then, he’s lived in Italy and the US until he settled here in 1969 where he bought a housein Masssapequa. Vito enjoyed playing Italian card games with his friends and taught his grandchildren, Angelina, Sarafina, and Marco how to play SCOPA, which they recently played with him in April on his 90th birthday.He made homemade wine as well as his own jarred tomato sauce. He was employed as a construction worker doing concrete work. He enjoyed home improvements that involved building and carpentry work and liked to help his sons with home improvements on their houses.
